Pretty busy here in Vegas but I'm getting into my schedule finally and I might have some time for some updates in the morning now. I don't have time to look for music so I thought this week's Tryout would be a no brainer, the new album from Muse. They are one of my favorite new bands. Them, Tegan & Sara, and Kings of Leon are two of the only groups that have really broken into a steady rotation amongst the pearl jam, Radiohead, and other older outfits. The early word on "The Resistance" is that it is probably Muse's worst album so I'm going to listen with lowered expectations.

The Parlay cards don't come out until tomorrow but I'm thinking that my "sure thing" bet is going to be on the Vikings again. 10.5 against the Lions. They should be able to cover that. This week is pretty tough. Last week I got four wrong on my Yahoo! pick 'em league and, of course, put all four on my parlays. I also need to switch up the games on my parlays so that one loss won't ruin all of my bets.
